Chihuahua dogs get fixed for free

ProPetFix spay and neuter clinic in Fullerton will neuter 40 Chihuahua dog family pets for free on Tues. Feb. 28, as part of World Spay Day events.

This is designed to help low-income families get their pets neutered, maximum of two dogs per household, and no rescue groups eligible.

They are targeting Chihuahua dogs because they have become increasingly popular, leading to overpopulation due to accidental breeding.

Around 40% of the dogs impounded by OC Animal Control are reportedly Chihuahas, and many of them end up being put down.

If you get your dog fixed, you can help remedy this sad situation.
